Commission Invites Public to Focus Groups

As part of its strategic planning process, the Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission is holding focus groups across the state, gathering input and information from the public to develop its three- to five-year goals.

The Commission is visiting 10 Georgia cities, leading focus groups for consumers, family members, caregivers, community leaders, and service providers. The Commission recently met in Atlanta with legislators, state agencies, and disability organizations. The remaining tour schedule includes:

Gainesville - March 19
Athens - March 20
Macon - March 25
Rome - April 8
Warm Springs - April 10

The public is encouraged to attend. If you are unable to attend, you still can participate in the process by completing a survey through the Commission's Web site at www.bsitf.state.ga.us.
