Food Bank Wins Technology Award

The Atlanta Community Food Bank recently was named the winner of the first Advancing Community Through Technology (ACTTSM) award. As a result, the food bank receives $25,000 worth of TechBridge technology consulting services and $25,000 worth of Microsoft software.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank was chosen among 56 candidates that were assessed by a panel of judges from both the nonprofit and for-profit business community. They were judged on their creative and effective use of technology to reach community targets, expand strategic goals, and increase the quality of client service.

Other finalists for the award included Consumer Credit Counseling Service and Parent to Parent of Georgia, which will each receive $10,000 in Microsoft software.
