FCP Hosting Finance Learning Institutes

Family Connection Partnership is continuing its Finance Learning Institutes at several sites throughout Georgia. The topic, "Resourcing Your Community Plan," provides guidance and strategies in using collaboration more effectively to identify and sustain diverse resources for improving results for children and families.

Participants will learn from other collaboratives and engage in small group activities that will help them answer such questions as:

• When resourcing a plan, where do we start? What are the steps that we need to know?
  
• Who are our potential partners for developing resources for our plan?
  
• What would a local fund development committee look like? How does this compare to the board for a nonprofit?
  
• How can we inspire our collaborative members to think and believe that they have the power to make this plan happen?
• How do we build, define and measure our capacity to deserve money and effectively manage it?
