G-CAPP Announces One-Stop Data Source for Adolescent Births

Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP) now offers comprehensive adolescent birth data for Georgia in one convenient place. Visit http://www.gcapp.org/teenPregnancy/countyData.htm to view a new "County Data" page that provides numbers and rates of births by county, with comparisons to regional, state and national data.

The most current available data are for 2002 and include total birth numbers and rates and a breakdown by age group. Data on repeat births also are available.

Separate tables compare Georgia's regional and statewide data disaggregated by racial and ethnic group. Links to other data sources on Georgia's youth and communities are available.

For more information, contact Ann Mintz at ann@gcapp.org.
