5, 2007 Members of Georgia Children's Advocacy Network are invited to attend the 2007 GA-CAN! kick off meeting in advance of the 2007 Session of the Georgia General Assembly, which convenes January 8. The Atlanta
Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) invites Georgia
high school students to submit entries to "Aspirations," the Georgia High
School Technical Communication competition. There is no entry fee. The
STC Atlanta Chapter sponsors this competition to encourage development
of technical writing skills among students in grades 10 through 12. Awards
will be presented at the STC Atlanta Chapter Annual Awards Banquet in
April 2007.
This annual legislative reception is an opportunity for G-CAPP to thank state legislators and officials who work to support Georgia's adolescents, as well as a time for advocates to let our state leaders know their priorities for the upcoming legislative session. The 2007 G-CAPP Legislative Reception will be held in the Blue Room at the Georgia Freight Depot. For details go to www.gcapp.org.
