The 2008 GBPI Visionary Award Luncheon

Georgia Budget and Policy Institute (GBPI) and members of the political,
business, and civic communities at the 2008 GBPI Visionary Award
Luncheon honoring Herman J. Russell, Sr., chairman and founder of
H.J. Russell & Company.
GBPI
describes Russell as extraordinary individual whose life and work
exemplifies a commitment to community service, education, and a
belief in the power of public policy to change lives. This year's
event program will include Atlanta City Council president, Lisa
Borders and Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce CEO, Sam Williams.
Registration
begins at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon runs from 12 - 1:30 p.m. InterContinental
Buckhead.
