Child Advocate Conference
The
Office of the Child Advocate (OCA) will sponsor a three-day Child
Advocate Conference. This year's conference will be held at the
Marriott Perimeter Center in north Atlanta.
The
OCA promotes the enhancement of the State's existing protective
services system to ensure that Georgia's children are secure and
free from abuse and neglect.

annual conference, sponsored by Casey Family Programs, brings together
youth in foster care, alumni, caregivers, practitioners, and advocates
to create synergy in sharing innovative practices designed to guide
preparation for adulthood services for youth aging out of foster

ASCD 2007 Conference on Teaching and Learning
This
conference, sponsored by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum
Development (ASCD), will explore the complexities of assessments
and show how schools are succeeding at raising student achievement

of years of research, more than 50 experts will explain ideas and
strategies that can help you achieve a new level of effectiveness.
