Types of Evaluation
Collaborative
evaluation is the systematic process of collecting and analyzing
information and then using the findings to answer important questions
and improve local decision making on behalf of children and families.
Collaboratives
must know about two types of evaluation: process evaluation
and results evaluation. The vision of Family Connection
Partnership is clearly focused on positive outcomes for children
and families. While working to promote and bring about these outcomes,
the collaborative will be involved in these two types of evaluation.
Each type of evaluation answers different types of questions. By
answering these questions, collaboratives will know whether their
efforts are making a difference for children and families.
