FCP and Evaluation
Family
Connection focuses on achieving a vision of positive results for
all of Georgia's children. Achieving this vision calls for statewide
focus on results and reform of the current system of accountability.
Evaluation
is a systematic process used to collect information and provide
answers to two important questions:
- What
is the community collaborative doing?
- To
what degree are desired outcomes for families and children being
achieved?
Evaluation
that promotes results accountability and adheres to recognized program
evaluation standards is a way to ensure that collaboratives are
making progress toward the goal areas identified in their evaluation
plans.
