-$1,000 - $5,000 from The Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation for grant for children's health and wellness, literacy and education, and domestic pets.
-up to $2,500 from ING and National Association for Sport and Physical Education to increase physical activity in students and help fight childhood obesity.
-$20,000 - $340,000 from The Malone Family Foundation for initiatives to improve the quality of education and the motivation and the self-esteem of students.

-$20,000 - $26,000 from Administration of Children and Families (ACF) Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) for Personal Responsibility Education Programs.
-$5,000 to $20,000 from Allstate Foundation to help domestic violence survivors build their financial independence and stay free from violence.
-$50,000-$250,000 from Lumina Foundation to increase the higher education attainment rate of the United States.

-$25,000 from RGK Foundation for innovative programs in the several categories including education and community.
-$2,000 from Target to support programs such as after-school reading events and weekend book clubs.

 February 21, 2012

-Foundation Grants from TJX Foundation to support as many nonprofit organizations as possible within a fiscal year.
-$25,000 to $100,000 from ChildObesity180 and the Partnership for a Healthier America to promote increased physical activity among youth.
-$100 to $500 from Kids In Need Foundation and Elmer's Products Inc. for projects to be completed during the 2012-13 school year.

-$2,000 - $75,000 from The Department of Community Affairs (DCA), State Housing Trust Fund for the Homeless Commission (HTF) and Federal HUD ESG Fund Grant Program 2012 Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG).
-$125,000 from The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to strengthen community coalitions working to combat substance use.

 February 7, 2012

-$15,000 from Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, KaBOOM!, and Let’s Play to be used toward the purchase of playground equipment.
-$10,000 per year, for three years from McCarthey Dressman Education Foundation for in-class and extracurricular programs that nurture the intellectual, artistic, and creative abilities of pre-k – 12th grade students.

-Up to $3,000 from Dollar General Literacy Foundation to help with the implementation or expansion of summer reading programs.
-Up to $300,000 from The Department of Health and Human Services forfor children and youth with special health care needs and their families.
-$15,000 - $30,000 from MetLife Foundation and Local Initiatives Support Corporation to promote neighborhood safety and revitalization.

-$50,000 - $250,000 from The Aetna Foundation to improve the quality and delivery of health services to everyone.

-Up to $2,000 from Open Meadows Foundation to support projects led by and for women and girls, particularly those from vulnerable communities.
-$15,000 from Dollar General Literacy Foundation for direct service to adults in need of literacy assistance.
