Children Ready to Start School
Georgia KIDS COUNT's indicators of child well-being for Children Ready to Start School:
- Eligible 3-year-old children enrolled in Head Start
- Eligible children enrolled in the Georgia Pre-K program
- Children from low income families enrolled in the Georgia Pre-K program
- Number of out-of-home child care settings that have national or Georgia accreditation (as designated by one or more of the following: NAEYC, NAFCC, Home of Merit, Home of Distinction, Center of Distinction and Center of Recognition)
- Babies born to mothers with less than 12 years of education
